The mic's recording quality is okay. Although the Sony H9 are the most premium headphones in the INZONE lineup, their mic has a worse recording quality than the more budget-friendly Sony INZONE H3, even after firmware update 01.002.005. However, wired models tend to perform better in this regard than wireless models, as they receive audio directly from the source, resulting in less data loss.
