Nate Diaz leaves Jake Paul dumbfounded after walking out of face-to-face interview

Nate Diaz left Jake Paul confused after he walked out of a face-to-face interview without explanation.

The pair sat down together ahead of their fight on Saturday to exchange in a war of words before they take that battle to the ring.

Journalist Ariel Helwani was moderating the interview and posted a short clip on social media of what happened.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul was lavishing praise on his opponent.

He said: “He’s a warrior. He’s put on some of the greatest fights in the history of MMA. He has an amazing fan base and people love him for a reason.

“I know he’s coming to bring a war. That’s what it says ‘ready for a f***ing war’. I think the fans are the ones who are going to win the most out of it because we both don’t want to lose or back down.”

Diaz looked visibly uncomfortable and raised his hands to get the attention of someone off camera.

He abruptly got up and left his chair and said: "I'll be right back."

Footage then shows him getting in a car and driving away, while Paul looked confused as to what was going on.

Helwani teased that the full video will be posted soon, which should provide full context on what happened.
